See the linked YT video for best reference. The issue: a staggered arrival set in marching mapper takes the full counts of the set, and then adds additional beats into the next set to arrive. The buddy app absorbs the additional beats of the original set, and then has the following set performed as a hold for those marchers. This adds beats to the drill video which aren't actually there, which will mislead students learning the drill. Proposed fixes: if it's a big challenge to get the buddy app to address this fully, you could the editor to observe staggered arrivals as negatives (so if I mark the arrival of page 5 for snare to be beat -5, it would arrive before the set ends), OR you could have the buddy app ignore arrival beats and just play as if the editor did not give an arrival beat.
